ViNotes is a wine cellar management app for people who keep more bottles than they can hold in their head. It is a private inventory, a tasting journal, and a set of shelves for the bottles that are not simply sitting in the rack — all in one place, on the web and on your phone.
Wine cabinets and inventory
Record every bottle with its vintage, region, producer and grape, and place it in a slot so you know where it physically sits. Keep several cabinets if your wine lives in more than one place.
Drinking windows
Give a bottle the years it should be opened between, and the scheduler sorts your whole collection by where each one sits in its window — so nothing quietly passes its peak at the back of a shelf.
Tasting journal
Log what a bottle actually tasted like, score it your way, and keep the note attached to the wine. Your journal is private by default; you can publish a tasting if you want others to read it.
Wishlist
Keep the wines you are still looking for in one list, separate from what you own, so a shop or a wine list can be checked against it rather than against memory.
On hold
A shelf for bottles that have arrived but are not yet filed — waiting to be rated, stored, or decided about. It keeps the working pile out of the permanent inventory.
Gifted and sold
A bottle that leaves your cellar is not deleted, it moves. Keep a record of what was given away and to whom, and of what was sold, without losing the tasting history attached to it.
Winery map
See the producers behind your collection on a world map or a globe, and use it to find where the wines you own actually come from.
Recommendations for your taste
Suggestions drawn from what you have rated highly, each one able to tell you why it was matched to you rather than presenting itself as an unexplained verdict.
Shared cabinets
Invite someone into a cabinet — a partner, a co-owner of the cellar — so you are both working from the same inventory instead of two lists that drift apart.
Seven languages, including Hebrew
The whole app is translated into English, German, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Italian and Portuguese, with proper right-to-left layout in Hebrew rather than a mirrored afterthought.
On the web, iPhone and Android
The same cellar in a browser and in a native app on iOS and Android, so a bottle added on a phone in a shop is there on a laptop at home.
