Terms of Service

You need an account to use ViNotes, and you must be of legal drinking age in your country. Keep your sign-in details safe: you are responsible for activity under your account.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. That permanently deletes your account and its data, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your cellar, notes, photos and lists are yours. You allow us to store, process and display them only as needed to run ViNotes for you — including showing them to the people you choose to share with and, if you publish something, to other users.

Don't upload anything unlawful, or anything you don't have the right to share.

Don't misuse ViNotes: don't try to access other people's data, disrupt or overload the service, scrape it, or resell it.

ViNotes is free to use, with an optional Premium subscription that unlocks more features. Current prices and what Premium includes are on our Pricing page.

Premium renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time: you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.

Each account can use a one-time 30-day free trial. It needs no payment details and never turns into a paid subscription by itself.

If we change a price, the new price applies from your next billing period after we've told you, and you can cancel before then.

Purchases on our website are processed by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, which handles billing, taxes and invoices. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to those purchases.

Purchases in the iOS app are made through Apple's App Store, and in the Android app through Google Play, under those stores' terms. You manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account.

Website purchases can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded by Apple and Google under their own policies. Our Refund Policy has the details.

Some features use AI, such as label scanning, filling in wine details and recommendations. AI output can be wrong, so check it before you rely on it. Nothing in ViNotes is professional advice.

ViNotes is a tool for cataloguing your own wine. We don't sell, deliver or take payment for alcohol. Please drink responsibly.

We work to keep ViNotes available, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

ViNotes is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be excluded.

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Israel have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
